Ian makes his living as a recording and live sound engineer, working all around Michigan. Although skilled in a wide variety of styles, his specialty is acoustic, roots, folk and americana music.

Ian works both independently and for The Music Barn, an acoustic and traditional music recording studio (Services include recording in The Music Barn itself, high-quality remote recording, and recording workshops).

Recently, Ian has become quite involved with Earthwork Music and their new recording facility Heart Center Studios in Big Rapids, Michigan.

Ian also has a nice collection of recording and PA equipment that's available for sessions and events.
